The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt course builds on the fundamentals of the Lean Six Sigma White Belt and Yellow Belt training --and it incorporates these levels of training. However, the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt level of training emphasizes the practical application of Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies towards addressing real business challenges. Individuals who have pursued this level of training have attained an applied proficiency level in Lean Six Sigma.
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt candidates are fully trained in the Lean Six Sigma methodologies and basic Lean and statistical tools. The certified Lean Six Green Belt professional may lead fairly straightforward projects or serve as a key member on projects teams that are led by a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
In addition to the estimated 40 hours required to complete the eLearning training modules, candidates should also budget another 16 hours for assignments and test exercises. These Lean Six Sigma training exercises and activities are aimed at developing greater proficiency with the use of Lean Six Sigma Green Belt tools and approaches.
The Lean Six Sigma Green Belt self-paced course offers an engaging, interactive format that stimulates learning through active learning. There are no pre-requisites for this course.
