Description

Cause and Effect Analysis

One of the most valuable insights for business process improvement is gained through an understand of the relationship between the process inputs and the process outputs. The Cause and Effect (C&E) matrix provides a structured approach to establishing and evaluating the relationship between the input and output process variables.  This course offers a very practical step-by-step approach to conducting a cause and effects analysis for any process.  The guided examples in this course further help our participants to understand the mechanics of the tool and provide the confidence for immediate application.

Failure mode and Effect Analysis ( FMEA)  is a powerful technique that is used to identify and eliminate potential causes of product and process failure. This failure prevention tool is facilitated to identify possible modes of failure and the consequence or impact if failure were to occur.  The outcome is a prioritized set of actions based on risks that may be mitigated.

In this course we provide step-by step instructions on completing an FMEA, along with useful examples to reinforce the learning.  The emphasis of this training is on tool application. Consequently, the course highlights typical challenges along with best practices for successfully completing an FMEA.
